Last Thursday, an art exhibit was set up outside the California Department of Justice building in Sacramento. Sponsored by Move America Forward and radio talk show host Mark Williams, the exhibit offered an alternative to an exhibit that has been on display inside the building since July 15.
Photos of the inside exhibit may be viewed here.
Photos of the outside exhibit are here.
Notice the differences?
The pieces displayed inside the government building, called “A Creative Merger: Lawyers and Artists,” were created by lawyers, were subsidized by tax dollars (through sponsorship of State Attorney General Bill Lockyer and the California Arts Council), were nasty in subject matter, and were anti-American and anti-Bush in message.
The pieces in the outside sidewalk exhibit, called "I Love America," were created by “just folks,” were sent and displayed for free, were full of patriotic symbols and colors, and were positive about America and our men and women in uniform.
No further comment is needed.

UPDATE: The “I Love America” artwork will now be sent to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Where should we send the “A Creative Merger: Lawyers and Artists” exhibit?

UPDATE: Our artwork arrived in Sacramento on time and was proudly displayed in the “I Love America" exhibit (see below).
